We have completed the permanent lateral support wall and its looking great. We have installed 50no structural piles on average 20m deep and have 3 weeks remaining on the contract to install the remainder of the piles. We were very fortunate to not have any damages or injuries during the heavy wind and rainstorm that hit Cape Town and the GeoCiv team manage to complete this one in their rain suits. |

Clifton | May 2024 | June 2024 | 100m2 of Working at Height Lateral SupportThe GeoCiv team installed several rock bolts in a municipal reserve in Clifton, Cape Town under live traffic conditions. The team did extremely well under the circumstances and dealing with a very difficult client that scrutinised everything we did. Well done GeoCiv team for delivery a lateral support wall that blends into the natural environment. Even though it is small, it still shows attention to detail and a great finish. |

Some great innovation by the management to build an ultra mobile drilling rig to install these 6no micro piles in rock within a week. |

The overall site was small and quite a challenge as we had to do the work during the time that the Earthworks contractor was on site. |
