The construction of the new Deloitte Offices in the Waterfall area consisted of a box cut with approximately 3000m2 of lateral support which included drilling a combination of 1300 no. soil nails and rock bolts, in excess of 6000m drilled. Shotcrete walls were installed between 200mm and 300mm thick. The duration for the lateral support took only 9 weeks to complete.
