About Athena

I am currently a first year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

The objective of my internship is to gain as much knowledge and experience as I possibly can in my field of study so that I will be able to make more definitive and better-informed choices with regards to my future career. Internship in a new country introduces me to new cultures and workingsystems,which broaden my perspectives and also enhances my personal development and networking.

I am effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin. I am easy-going, adventurous and love outdoor work activities. I am conscientious in my work and I adapt easily to all environments.

I am a vibrant and energetic person.Iexcel in both team-based and individual sports like basketball and badminton. Listed are some of the sport achievements I haveattained recognition for from both within and outside the school curriculum:

Besides excelling in sports, I have also obtained the licence to operate forklift and powered-pleasure crafts besides a Class 3 driving licence.

In May 2013, I attended Bauma in Munich, Germany where I was able towitness the different models of machines available on the market. I was also given an opportunity to visit the Liebherr factory in Nenzing, Austria. In the factory, I was introduced to the assembly line for crawler cranes.
